"All of my edged blades are individually hand ground. Each handle is hand crafted and fitted to a specific blade. No two are alike. All blades are 440C stainless or Damascus steel, properly tempered for their intended use. My preferred handle materials are horn, bone and exotic hardwoods such as Cocobolo or African Blackwood. Variations are available on request, but I don't make the modern dress knives with thistle-carved handles. My knives are first and foremost tools and weapons. While totally suitable as decorative dress items, their primary purpose is to CUT!"
